Musician’s Earplugs – £210                       

A custom high-fidelity earplug available with a variety of filter options to suit your preference, ranging from 15dB to 30dB noise attenuation. Sound levels are reduced across all frequencies reproducing the same original sound quality only quieter and safer.  

Noise at work – £200                             

Most traditional hearing protection used in the work environment is often described as cumbersome, uncomfortable and a barrier to communicating with colleagues. Unfortunately, even with today’s health and safety measures we are often told by patients that they do not bother with hearing protection. In fact, a recent large-scale study by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in the US (2021) suggested that over half of workers exposed to noise in their job did not wear hearing protection.  

Our custom-made work earplugs provide 24dB of noise attenuation whilst still enabling the user to hear sounds around them and the ears to breathe.

Sleep plugs – £150                                     

A super comfortable custom-made plug for sleeping. Made of an ultra-soft and flexible silicone, these are a great solution for those needing a night of uninterrupted sleep.  

Swim plugs – £150                                    

Our ears prefer a dry and mildly acidic environment. Frequent exposure to water and harsh chemicals may cause irritation and will increase the risk of infection. Here at Private GP Clinic we can provide custom-made swim plugs that prevent water from entering the ear but also contain a filter that allows some sound to enter, providing the swimmer with full situational awareness.  

These are a must-have for those involved in regular water sports, with a perforated eardrum or who are prone to outer ear infections.  

Explosive Noise – £200

A custom-made earplug that protects the user from the peak sound pressure level of fireworks and explosions. The patented filter reduces these impulse noises to safe levels whilst still enabling the user to hear speech and ambient noise around, retaining spacial awareness and directionality of sound.
